ABOUT US

DB King Electrical Contractors, a Durham, NC based electrical company was founded December 8, 2014. Prior to the creation of DB King, Donnie King co-owned King Brothers Electric Company in Durham where he served as President for 38 years.

DB King Electrical Contractors provides a variety of electrical services to private companies, non profits, hospitals and residential clients. We’ve had the unique opportunity to work on some amazing projects in the Triangle over the past several decades and each day we’re thankful that we get to work with so many amazing employees, contractors, vendors and clients.

Licensing

DB King Electrical Contractors is a licensed Electrical Contractor in the state of North Carolina. We hold what is referred to as an Unlimited Electrical License (License #U.30728). This allows us to work on any job regardless of size.

Bonding

DB King has worked on electrical projects of all sizes, including larger ones that require bonding. Our company has significant bonding capacity that allows us to meet the bonding requirements of most any job, large or small.

Employee Screening

DB King Electrical Contractors conducts background checks on our employees and also cooperates with our larger commercial and industrial clients where employees must undergo additional background screening for different types of security clearance.

Safety Standards

Safety is extremely important to every member of the DB King team. We hold regular safety meetings in-house and also require all our employees to attend safety meetings held by our clients when necessary.

Blake came by our home to provide a quote the day after we first connected and scheduled a team to perform the work for the next business day after that. The team that installed our new chandelier was polite, punctual, and made quick work of the project. All of the work King Electrical has done for us has been exceptionally good. The people who come out are always very polite, come on time, and most importantly do a great job. They have done many different things from fixing sockets, motion detectors, and lights. They are easy to talk to, ask questions, and clean up before they leave. We would give DB King more than 5 stars if we could. This is the best electrical company we have worked with. They are expert electricians and true professionals. In addition to taking care of our routine electrical work, DB King has come out to our property twice on very short notice when we had problems that needed attention right away, and Blake could not have been nicer or more helpful.
