Westphal & Company, Inc., is a full-service electrical construction firm that was founded in 1931.

Owner John Westphal has worked in the family company since he was a young teenager, in Warehousing, Estimating, and Project Management. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a State of Wisconsin Master Electrician.

OUR STORY

ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERTS SINCE 1931

Fred H. Westphal’s son, Fred T., took over management of the company in 1959 until his death in 1983. At that time, John and Brett Westphal, Fred T.’s sons, began managing the firm. John Westphal acquired sole ownership of the company in 2001.

John is in charge of the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company. A hands-on owner, he is actively involved with customer relations, business development, competitive bidding, pre-construction services, project management, and community involvement.

With the addition of the fourth generation of the Westphal family – Maiken Westphal, Fritz Westphal, and Gretchen Westphal Fredrickson – Westphal & Co., Inc. continues to follow the tradition of integrity and quality established in the past, while building with the technology of the future.LEARN MORE
