2021 Hurricane Season Begins June 1st.

2020 was a historic and record-breaking year.

Last year over 28 million people were affected by power outages caused by tropical weather. The 2020 Atlantic hurricane season was the most active and the fifth costliest Atlantic hurricane season on record. In addition, it was the fifth consecutive above-average season from 2016 onward. The season featured a total of 31 tropical cyclones, all but one of which became a named storm.

On December 9, 2020, the Tropical Storm Risk issued an extended-range forecast for the 2021 season, predicting activity that is above normal. In this report, the organization predicts 16 named storms, 7 hurricanes and 3 major hurricanes. The main factor behind their prediction is the expected development of a weak La Niña by the third quarter of 2021.

A virtual estimate takes approximately one hour and accomplishes the same thing as an in-home estimate, but allows you and your family to be our eyes and ears through FaceTime or another face-to-face software program.
