OUR HISTORY
JP Electrical was started in Jim Weddington’s garage in 1997. Jim and his wife, Michelle, began the business as partners with Jim handling bids and the electrical work and Michelle taking care of the finances and businesses. During those first few years, they developed a reputation for delivering excellent work and affordable price.
Since then, valuable team members have joined JP Electrical—some of whom have been with our company for almost twenty years now. Our team of high-quality and trustworthy electricians has grown a lot over the last couple of decades or so. Throughout all of the growth, Jim has stayed very in tune with everything going on in the business and he continues to actively participate in every aspect of it, from minor repair jobs to supervising and getting to know both his customers and contractors. Now with a team of over 90 men and women, JP Electrical is Utah’s number one contractor for any type of electrical job!
