*Estimates provided for negotiations on the purchase or sale of a home involving the review of a home inspection report are $150. This charge is credited toward future work if Moss Electric LLC is contracted to do the electrical work needed as indicated in the home inspection. Returned checks will be charged a minimum $35 fee. 

Who we are

Moss Electric LLC was established in 2007 by Nathan and Stacey Moss. We have established a reputation for quality work at an honest price. 

Nathan has over twenty years experience as an electrician and has worked as both a service electrician and maintenance electrician throughout New Hampshire and Maine. 

Stacey has a background in sales, marketing and finance with companies such as Cabletron, Xylan and Alcatel. Most recently she worked for the City of Portsmouth and Hawthorn Creative.

We are proud supporters of Portsmouth Little League, Portsmouth Youth Football, JDRF and End 68 Hours of Hunger.

Moss Electric LLC offers a variety of services for your electrical needs. From residential to commercial, we are comfortable working in a variety of environments.

Attention to detail and customer service are our goals. We are family owned and operated so it is important to us that we leave our customers satisfied.  We are proud to say that the majority of our business comes via referral from our loyal customers.

We realize that hiring someone to work in your home can be nerve wracking and we want our customers to feel at ease that they are getting quality work at a fair price.

*Payment is due upon completion of work and receipts are sent out within 24 hours. This means we do not “invoice” and either someone must be present upon completion of work to provide payment or a credit card number must be on file prior to work commencing.  We accept cash, checks or credit cards. If you require special payment terms, i.e delaying payment until your next credit card cycle it must be communicated and approved prior to work commencing. Quotes for jobs cannot be changed once accepted by the customer. The final invoice and associated costs will match that of the initial quote provided to the customer. Due to potential fluctuations in material costs a job quote is only valid for 90 days. Estimates are an indication of expected costs based on limited job information. All estimates are valid for 90 days from the date of receipt. Appointment dates must be confirmed within 24 hours. We cannot hold appointment dates without confirmation. Appointments of three days or more must provide a deposit which is non refundable if cancelled without at least two weeks notice. If we arrive to a scheduled appointment and cannot gain access to the job site or have not been informed of a change in circumstances, the customer is responsible for the lost time and will be billed half a days pay or $800. Moss Electric LLC does not dispose of job site trash associated with our electrical work. We will break it down and leave in an orderly pile however It is the responsibility of the customer to dispose of it. Confirmation via email constitutes agreement to the aforementioned items .
