PEI was founded in 1978 by four equal partners, Frank Ashley, Norm Schumacher, Lee Krauss and Don Cartwright. We all had the same view, interest and concerns about how a company should operate. The characteristics we considered important were:

A)We must provide a quality product.
B)We must delivery on time. 
C)We must do what we say we’re going to do.

Through the years we can say that we have been able to uphold these standards, and our commitment to them will always be there, day in and day out. Our motto is “Toward Excellence”. We can only hope and strive to achieve excellence in all that we do and promise to do. Attempting to reach that goal can surely be a difficult process, but in reality all we have had to do is utilize our innate sense of what is right from wrong, what is true from false and treat our customer’s like we would like to be treated. Excellence is a matter of doing a lot of little things well. All it takes is doing it right, and be accountable.

Since 1991 I have been the remaining sole owner of Pacific Electric, and with Dave Rausch as my right arm we have advanced and honed our skills at producing more and better products, especially aimed into the specialty market. Dave has many titles, since he is considered our General Manager, Production Manager, Cost Analyst, Switchboard Designer, Quotations Dept., Purchasing Agent, etc. We all wear many hats here, and this has given us the ability to provide better service to our customer with only one call to either Dave or myself. Also, Marilyn Dale, our Executive Assistant has provided her many HR, AR, AP skills to help our organization, and can provide help for you if Dave or I are unavailable.

No, we are not a large company, and do not desire to generate large volumes of uncontrolled business, but yes we are large and experienced enough to help customer’s requiring complicated switchboard additions to existing switchboards, certified cable tap applications to existing equipment, and of course we would be pleased to provide you with all new switchboard replacements, or for new construction applications, through 6000A @ 480V.
