Chad, CEO / Founder

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, our founder Chad Ridenour has been in the electrical trade since 1996. Through the amazing support of his wife, two children, four dogs, and one cat, Turn It On Electric was born in 2010. As our CEO, he enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with amazing people, and enjoying every moment he can get with his family. Chad has a passion for flying a small plane and will be starting pilot school within a year.

José, Foreman

Originally from Mexico, José has been in the electrical trade for 12 years, and with Turn It On Electric since 2013. He has experience in residential, commercial, and industrial areas. José has been married 17 years, has six children, and one dog. He loves spending time with his family and friends as well as outdoor activities. He is also a fantastic artist with a love of woodwork.

Jose lives by the motto “it’s not what we do but how much love we put into it.” He’s proud to be a journeyman electrician and enjoys working for a company that provides good service and is focused on keeping employees educated.

Bob, Service Technician

Originally from Erie, PA, Bob moved to Phoenix in 2013 and joined Turn It On Electric in 2015. He has worked in the electrical industry since graduating with a Specialized Associate’s Degree – Maintenance Electricity And Construction Technology in 1996. Bob was also an Electrical Instructor for 10 years at the same college that he earned his Associate’s Degree, Triangle Tech in Erie, Pennsylvania. He also studied Martial Arts (Goshin Jitsu Karate) for nearly a decade: King Cobra Karate in Erie, Pennsylvania. His experience includes residential, commercial, industrial, motor control, PLC programming, low voltage, and data communications. He has been married 24 years and is the proud father of three children and grandpa to one grandson. Bob’s hobbies include rock music and playing with his pet lizards.

Bob’s certifications include OSHA 30, Forklift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift License, and CPR Certification. He enjoys being a part of the TIO team because they are an elite group of honest, hard-working, customer-oriented, team players and says that “Anything worth doing is worth doing right.”

Tim, Field Superintendent

With over 38 years as an electrician in Tucson & Phoenix, Tim is one of our most experienced team members. His experience range includes residential, commercial, industrial, mining, complex-industrial, plant maintenance, and SCIF room installations for the military. He enjoys the family genre of being on the team at Turn It On Electric. He’s most proud of being able to help experienced electrical engineers out of confusion. Tim’s certifications include scissor lifts, reach forklifts, OSHA and NFPA 70 Electrical safety training, 40-hour HazWhopper Training per 29CFR 1910.120e, fall protection training, infection control risk assessment, NSC first aid training, NSC CPR course, IMSHA certificate international mine safety and hazard awareness, 2017 code class, NSC electrical compliance certified, and NSC electrical compliance trainer.

Anthony, Foreman

Anthony is originally from California and has been in the field for three years, all of which have been spent with Turn It On Electric. His hobbies include riding motocross and working on his ‘65 Chevy pickup.

Bill, Service Technician

Originally from the East Coast, loves spending time with his family. He went to school to become an electrician and has 14 years experience in the electrical field. Bill has been a part of the Turn It On Electric team for six years.

Rob, Technician

He is most proud of his baby Elizabeth who was born last summer. She’s the greatest thing he’s ever done in his life. Rob is a Purple Heart recipient and has been in the electrical field for 13 years. He really appreciates how the owner takes care of his employees and always strives to put the customer’s needs first.

Sean, Technician

“Do it right the first time, so we don’t’ have to do it again,” is a belief that he is committed to. With eight years in the electrical trade, Sean is OSHA 30 certificate and 2019 NEC code certified. He enjoys being a part of the TIO team as it’s a very family-oriented place with good mentorship.
